Analysis of reform path for clean air conditioning talent cultivation of building environment and energy application engineering—A case study on Guilin University of Aerospace Technology

The potential demand for cleanrooms has been effectively triggered by the fast development of high-tech industries represented by chip production and biopharmaceuticals.Building environment and energy application engineering,as one of the key majors in clean air conditioning,plays a leading role in the cleanroom design,construction,operation and maintenance.The talent cultivation system now in most universities’ building environment and energy application engineering departments,however,has serious shortcomings in the area of clean air conditioning,which causes a mismatch between talent cultivation and industry demand.Based on the above practical problems,taking the Guilin University of Aerospace Technology’s building environment and energy application engineering as an example,this study investigates the reform path of the talent cultivation system for clean air conditioning from the viewpoints of talent cultivation objectives,curriculum and faculty,injecting new impetus into the sustainable development of the building environment and energy application engineering.
